ADSY is a bold initiative funded by House Bill 3 of the 86th Texas Legislature and administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). ADSY draws upon international best practices in Education to address summer learning loss and unfinished learning brought on by the global pandemic.
Ermel is currently 1 of 3 schools in Aldine ISD that is part of the Additional Days School Year (ADSY).
- Has the same holidays as all other schools
- Starts three weeks before and ends three weeks after all other schools
- Provides extended and additional learning opportunities for our students compared to all other schools with additional school days
